Montréal, 23 November 2009 – Syscan ID announces major upgrades to its Livetrack Manager software along with a newly developed firmware update enabling improved functionality of its Livetrack animal ID tag reader. Syscan ID has made significant enhancements to the ISO Livetrack RFID reader firmware which now includes faster tag reading, alpha-numeric keypad entry, and manual weight entry for animal ID management.
The Livetrack Manager software acts as a standalone animal ID management software, ideal for smaller operations that do not need to use third party software, and or just need basic EID re-porting. Reports can be exported in .CSV (Excel) or .TXT (Text) files, for additional management, and or reporting to a governing agency, for animal movements and other related activities. It interfaces with numerous third party animal ID software systems through serial and Bluetooth communications for operators with larger herds and multiple points of entry.
Syscan ID Managing Director, Mark Haugwitz commented, “The new and improved ISO Livetrack reader software has been upgraded to provide our customers with a feature rich platform enabling new functionality and an increased level of sophistication to support the management of their animal ID operations and reporting needs. As the application of animal ID solutions continues to grow, we will focus on evolving our products and solutions to satisfy the demands of our customers.”
Both the Livetrack firmware loader software and Livetrack manager software are available at http://syscan-id.com/en/livetrack-reader-downloads.php with easy to follow instructions for downloading the new firmware to the ISO Livetrack wand reader.
